Chino Valley residents - Help in fighting off that nasty flu bug. Merchants and agencies offering flu shots are: *Ralphs grocery store, 12835 Mountain Ave., by appointment only. Cost is $25. Call 548-6366. *Albertson’s Sav-on Pharmacies. For times and locations, call (800) 783-0458. *Stater Bros stores, 14250 Chino Hills Parkway in Chino Hills and 131 E. Riverside Drive in Ontario, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and noon to 3 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 18. Cost is $25; cash and checks are accepted, as well as Medicare Part B. Pneumonia shots are available for $40. *Walgreens pharmacy, 12490 Central Ave. in Chino, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. Cost is $24.99, or $39.99 for the pneumonia shot. Medicare Part B is accepted. Chino Senior Center will host a health fair in conjunction with the county flu shot clinic. Health screenings will be offered, as well as health service information.
